Description

Nevada Frida Baylor and Connor Ander Rogan cordially invite you to join their wedding celebration. Summoning, weather manipulation, and other magical activities strictly forbidden.

Catalina Baylor is looking forward to wearing her maid of honor dress and watching her older sister walk down the aisle.  Then the wedding planner gets escorted off the premises, the bride’s priceless tiara disappears, and Rogan's extensive family overruns his mother’s home.  Someone is cheating, someone is lying, and someone is plotting murder.

To make this wedding happen, Catalina will have to do the thing she fears most: use her magic.  But she’s a Baylor and there’s nothing she wouldn't do for her sister's happiness.  Nevada will have her fairy tale wedding, even if Catalina has to tear the mansion apart brick by brick to get it done.

A cute story with Nevada’s younger sister, the siren, leading the charge. Overall I liked the story and was sad to see it end so soon. The family dynamics and attempted murder kept me engaged. The story had more of a YA vibe than what is normal from the Author Lords team. Looking forward to more from this series! The narrator did a good job!
  • Good story: Not romance

A well written mystery/urban fantasy. I enjoyed it. However, if you are expecting romance because this is listed in the paranormal romance category, you will be disappointed. There is none.

You have an excellent story about families and not so good members of families. Nevada’s sisters are planning the wedding and solving mysteries! Catalina is learning how to use her magic and uncovers some twists to the story but not good for Rogan’s side of the family. Follow the action as secrets get uncovered and past people get caught. Growth for her and realization that she is supported by her family and Rogan’s important family members. I recommend this book and look forward to reading more about the Baylor family and Rogan’s family.

But it’s always fun to visit the Hidden Legacy world. I can’t wait for Catalina’s trilogy.
