Description

Mistakes were made, okay?

The moment I laid eyes on Kyle Kingston I knew he was a mistake. A satisfying, toe curling, hair pulling, best night of my life mistake, but a mistake all the same. I didn't yet know his name, or who he was, but I knew he was a bad idea.

I take comfort in that, because it means my instincts are still good. Too late, but it's something.

Because, FYI, I'm pregnant

… and did I mention my baby daddy is both heir to a retail empire and impossible to get ahold of?

I do what any girl would. I break into his Grandfather's retirement gala by telling the prissy gatekeeper Kyle's my fiancé. It was a halfway decent plan at the time, trust me.

But it blows up in my face, disastrously so. You see, Kyle Kingston is all about representing the family values his family's retail empire was founded on. At least in public. In private- well I'll tell you about that later.

He proposes – a marriage of convenience.

Convenient for everyone but me, because while I'm falling in love with my convenient husband, he's keeping a billion-dollar secret. From me.

Kyle is one lucky man. Daisy is one smart compassionate woman. They make for one interesting complicated couple. Neither is sure of what they should say or do in their situation. Could not wait to see where the story would go. A must read. Loved it.

Move over Gabe Laurent, there's a new book boyfriend in town and his name is Kyle Kingston! Gah!!! I loved this book so much. It's definitely a favorite of mine from Jana Aston. It's chock-full of laughs and steam and swoons and wit. Daisy and Kyle are trying to navigate this new normal and it's perfection. It's so real and refreshing. This is book 2 in a series but it can be read as a stand-alone. This is a must read!!!

Kyle and Daisy! What an absolute dream of a romance couple. I loved Kyle so so much and Daisy was seriously a character that I wanted to be best friends with! What else can I say I adored about this book? Well it has all of my favorite things: marriage of convenience; a hero who falls for the heroine immediately; and super hot sex! The only thing that I wish we had more of was Kyle’s POV but otherwise this book was perfect! Another win from Jana!

Plan B is the second book in the Best Laid Plans series. It can be read as a standalone but Sure Thing is awesome and worth the read! "But we're just a fluke," I remind him. "You and me." "Hmm," he hums softly. "Or maybe the universe sent me exactly who I needed." Heart. Puddle. Floor.” After an amazing one night stand, Daisy was left with no contact info but a lifetime souvenir! When she tries to get a hold of Kyle Kingston to let him know he knocked her up, she finds more than just a baby daddy. “This is like being witness to a train wreck. Or watching fake news spread on the internet. Except I'm the fake news and I'm the one driving the train, so it's much, much worse.” Plan B is surprise pregnancy, marriage of convenience, and funny as heck!! Add in an adorable cat named Tubbs McGee and I dare you to try NOT to one click!!! -5 Stars!-

I have loved everything that I have read by Jana Aston, I especially like when she gives us past characters in her stories. I have been waiting for Daisy’s book ever since I read Sure Thing and her twin switch with Violet so that she could go and “handle something”. As much as I LOVED Violet & Jennings story in the back of my head I was BEYOND curious as to what Daisy was up to. And Plan B starts off with a bang gets you right into Daisy’s head and what she’s up to. I completely appreciate that it wasn’t drug out in anyway you get to know her plan with her inner dialogue. Again Jana blew it out of the park with Daisy’s inner dialogue, I was cracking up, and enjoying every minute of it. It took me a little bit to see where Kyle was coming from but once I was able to get in his head I fell in love with him! He was a great guy, strong, family oriented, sexy, had some alpha tendencies (which I love). I want to thank Jana for bringing some Dr. Luke into the story :). I just finished this book the other day and I’m already wanting more of Violet & Jennings, & Daisy & Kyle. I’m a little greedy, sorry not sorry lol.

5/5 stars Jana can sure write romcom! I loved this installment in the Best Laid Plans series! Kyle was great as was Daisy (I even liked her more than her twin Violet from an early book) All in all this book is well-paced, solid plot, and great humor! Oh and it even features a loveable cat!

Daisy and Kyle’s story gives you all the feels! I loved their chemistry and developing relationship, and the cameos by Violet and Dr. Luke Miller. This was such a delight that I couldn’t believe that I’d gotten to the end of it seemingly in a blink of an eye! Then I was terribly sad that it was over. But this book!

What may seem like a mistake at first glance turns out to be something that is meant to be. Daisy and Kyle were only suppose to have that one night together but fate has other plans. What starts a compromise turns into something neither had planned. While both fighting their feelings one has to deal with huge trust issues and the other has tell a secret that may change everything. Daisy has a definite flair for the dramatic but Kyle knows just how to handle her and not so subtly ease into her heart. It was a funny, quirky, and romantic read.
