So you got the guy on the big white horse, and the beautiful little mermaids, and the picket fence, and your life isn’ t . . . perfect in every imaginable way?

You’re not alone. In 1997, Gabrielle Reece married the man of her dreams—professional surfer Laird Hamilton—in a flawless Hawaiian ceremony. Naturally, the couple filed for divorce four years later.

In the end they worked it out, but not without the ups and downs, minor hiccups, and major setbacks that beset every modern family.

With hilarious stories, wise insights, and concrete takeaways on topics ranging from navigating relationship issues to aging gracefully to getting smart about food, My Foot Is Too Big for the Glass Slipper is the brutally honest, wickedly funny, and deeply helpful portrait of the humor, grace, and humility it takes to survive the happily ever after.

  • Terrible book- couldn't even get to the end

This is truly the worst book I have ever read. It started out ok; boring but ok. Then around page 100, she starts talking about how it doesn't matter how exhausted a woman is at the end of the day- if we want to keep our husbands happy, we have to provide them with the sex they need to stay happy. What?!?! I wish I could give this zero stars. Pointless, boring, and extremely annoying. Gabrielle Reece is an amazingly talented athlete. She should stick to that; as being a writer is definitely NOT her strong point.
  • my foot is too big for a glass slipper,,,boring

Stupid, boring, trite. I could have spoken to my next door neighbor for the same entertainment level. She had good values, a working marriage, great kids and lots of healthy hobbies. Ok thanks!

  • Great book for athletic women who care

This is a wonderful book for all men and women. Gabby gives a pt of view that many understand and want to understand. Being in my mid-twenties, single, without kids, i really enjoyed the learning aspect of this book on how to make it work. I am a graduated College track and field athlete, pentathlete specifically, so i related to Gabrielles' athleticism and motivations.
