This book was a great read that I couldn’t put down! I didn’t find much of a description of the book when I purchased it to read but I was pleasantly surprised to really like the story it told, The book is about a rich family that goes to a island every summer and spends the summer with all there extended family(grandparents, aunts and cousins) the oldest set of cousins all have a very close bond until a accident sends one cousin on a mission to uncover the truth about her accident because She can’t remember what really happened, as the truth unfolds it tells past and present which made you feel like you were reading a mystery. I was shocked at the ending and it added to the wow factor of the book, I will definitely be reading more from this author.
  • The ending wasn’t as dramatic as I expected

This is a good read, but the ending was so quick and not random but ...cliche. I liked a lot of the parts of the book and the lead up to the final parts, but I expected more. Definitely a page turner though, I just expected a more grandiose ending.
  • Best Twist Ever!!!

The twist at the end - OMG! We never saw it coming! And also, what a wonderful book. It kept me up all night until the last page was turned.
  • Favorite book!

I bought this book about 2 years before I finally finished it. Lost my place a couple times. Restarted a couple times. So I understand, the book can be confusing and seem very long. However, when I finally did finish the book, I was so glad. This book is easily one of the best I have ever read. Putting the pieces together in the end will leave you astonished. Strongly suggest for young adult readers!!!!

    It was confusingly written.
  • Disappointed.

This is probably my least favorite book I’ve read during my reading binge over the past few months. I read the teaser and thought one thing, but I was completely let down. The only reason it doesn’t get one star from me is because of how likable some of the characters were.
  • I was expecting more...

3.7 stars for this one! I enjoyed it, but was just expecting more. More from the plot, characters, the world aka the island, the whole shebang. It was still an intriguing read, though!
  • Wonderful read

Wonderfully written. I love how the author really illustrates the raw emotions the main character is feeling. I enjoyed the big plot twist at the end. In other storylines it may have come off as cleshay, but the author pulled it off very well.
