I never thought that the people in Japan would do a Star Wars manga, really nice to see that but the question is don't the people in Japan should add some color to these novels? The writings help but the one thing that is missing is some color because I think it would look better than seeing it in black and white. If the people in Japan thought about adding color and re-release the novels that would be awesome. 😀

I can trace my love for Star Wars all the way to 2004, when I first saw the Original Triology. While I enjoyed documentaries about Star Wars, I would notice the many details that never made to the final cut of Episode IV: A New Hope. And not to mention the movie's computer animated changes that it got through the years. However, this manga tells the story from its simple and magnificent premise of the Original Script, including deleted scenes that never even made the original cut. And reading this, while admiring Japanese animation at its best' one can truly enjoy that Galaxy far, far away from a whole new satisfying perspective. If you're a fan of manga, I recommend it. If you're a fan of Star Wars, I definitely recommend it. But if you're a fan of both, start reading right away!

Hisao Tamaki's manga adaptation of A New Hope is not just one of my favorite Star Wars comics -- it's one of my favorite graphic novels, period. There's such dynamism and life breathed into these familiar scenes through the illustrations, all while staying faithful to the spirit of the original movie. I've owned the paper copies for a long time, and I'm so glad they're finally being made available digitally!
